Unexpected Storms PDF Print E-mail
Written by Mike W. Boston, Sr

This two part sermon series will tell you that: The Bible proves that a person can experience storms in their life when they are being disobedient as in Jonah, as well as when they are being obedient like the disciples in the boat with Jesus.

Points and principles from this series:
•    All we need to do entrust our situation to Jesus.
•    All Jesus needs to do is speak to our storms/situations and they can change immediately.
•    Don’t get jealous of how Jesus is handling someone else’s storm, He can still handle yours.
•    Jesus doesn’t expel anymore of His virtue in stilling one storm (our storm) than He does making still every storm spiritual and physical still.
•    Jesus doesn’t expel anymore of His virtue in stilling one storm, than He does in casting out demons, or bringing someone back from the dead.
•    You don’t need to wake Jesus up anymore…Jesus is not dealing with His humanity anymore.

The difference between being in a storm with Jesus and without Jesus is obviously the aftermath…
Folk can tell if you went through a storm and if Jesus was with you… The aftermath tells the story…
In Jonah’s disobedience after the storm, he still had to go through some other things…
However, with the disciples, who was with Jesus, as soon as the storm was gone, their troubles were gone…

Don’t let anyone tell you that you shouldn’t be experiencing any storms if you’re walking with Jesus…

THESE ARE JUST A FEW POINTS AND PRINCIPLES YOU’LL BE EXPOSED TO IN THIS SERMON SERIES
