What If I Am Right?

by author Mike W. Boston, Sr.

Often when I am asked a question as it relates to preferences or choices, I will say to the person with whom I am having the discussion, “What if I am right? Are you willing to accept the consequences of your choice(s)?” I go on to tell that person, before they can answer these two very important questions, to consider that this issue has to do not only with their experiences in time (now), but also their experiences in eternity (later).

We are not talking about missing a city bus here or something like that. If you miss a bus, another one will soon come along that will take you to your destination. What we are talking about here is your eternal destiny. When you die, you do not get the choice of which “bus” you will take.  Better still, you do not get to choose your destination after you die. [You know, like you get to choose your destination after you have boarded a city bus.]

So, what if I am right? What if the self-reliant choices you are making in order to live your best life now keep you from enjoying all that God has planned for those who have truly accepted Him as Lord and Savior later? Are you willing to accept the consequences of your choices?

I wrote this book for those who are not clear about the consequences of their choices, as well as for those who are clear themselves, but may have a hard time communicating these truths to others. In this book I do my best to use terms and expressions that a person with little knowledge of the Bible can easily comprehend; and I made it short enough that the average reader would complete it, and interesting enough that the extraordinary reader would still be challenged by it.

My prayer is that after you read this book, you will join me in seeing this book reach all of those, and more, who have read the “other” book; not so they will have another view, but that they will have God’s view. I can imagine what you are thinking, but what if I am right? Are you willing to accept the consequences of your choices?

This is just a simple book about a hard truth.
